Purchase manager


Gorenje Asia, an European producer of household appliances is looking for a full-time purchase manager to join our team in Shanghai. The position involves development of new Asian suppliers, maintaining business relationships and providing daily support to our HQ in Europe and Asian suppliers.We are looking for outgoing, self-motivated, individuals who enjoy the ability to work autonomously and do not mind travelling.

  • Prepare and supervise purchase budget;
  • Staff management;
  • Ability to provide solutions;
  • Negotiate prices;
  • Coordinate between suppliers and headquarters (together with R&D team follow up new projects and their development);
  • Search for potential new suppliers;


  • Proven ability to organize projects, implement standards, drive improvements;
  • Must have a strong sense of cost control;
  • Cooperate and communicate with business partners/suppliers; 
  • Self-confidence, integrity and responsibility;
  • Background in business or related fields;
  • Any related knowledge/experience in the field of white goods (preferred);


  • Bachelor degree or above;
  • Fluency in English (written and oral);
  • Asia-based purchase experience;
  • Already has Chinese visa (preferred);
  • Attention to details, self-motivated;
  • Proficiency in MS office;

Marketing Assistant


Marketing plan executive:

  • Sourcing Marketing gifts, POS material, organizing financial data, preparing marketing material for wider distribution;
  • Prepares mailers and brochures by formatting content and graphics; arranging printing;
  • Assisting the marketing manager and supporting the marketing team with marketing activities;
  • Providing support for marketing events and exhibitions as required;
  • Translate a variety of material, particularly marketing and sales material (user manuals, catalogues, brochures, etc.) from English to Chinese and vice versa;
  • Edit, standardize and proofread the material;
  • Revise and finalize translated material;


  • A degree in marketing, English or similar qualification (not essential but an advantage);
  • Personable, presentable and articulate;
  • Technical background an advantage;
  • Computer proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop;
  • Excellent English writing and reading skills;
  • Basic knowledge of office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
  • Independent, motivated, innovative thinker;
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks efficiently;
  • Great team player—with roll-up your sleeves “can do” attitude;

Product Management


Full responsibility(ASKO brand)

  • Communication with distributors and HQ on product related questions;
  • Communication with Chinese factories on product related issues and update with sales team and HQ;
  • Support making benchmark of products;
  • Translations of English and Chinese documents that is related to business development;
  • Make and update product training materials;
  • Support for training (internal);
  • Market research(Internet & local visit & fair visit);
  • Daily sales support;
  • Monthly updating job achievement to supervisor;
  • Other open issues related to product management; 

Cooperation (ASKO brand)

  • Cooperate with marketing department about ASKO brand related issues.


  • Bachelor degree or above;
  • Overseas education or working experience preferred;
  • Good command of spoken and written English;CET6 or IELTS6.5 and above;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Attention to details, self-motivated;
  • Proficiency in MS office;
